Text Tool

With the text tool we can insert texts on the image. The soft edges option can be applied on it. Click on the image where you want to draw the text, and a dialog will appear. Here we can insert the text and set the font type, size, style of the text. A preview is also available. The text will be inserted as a new selection, so you can easily reposition your text.
